Honeymoon Destination: Iceland!

Proposal: After months of conversations and about getting married and several moments when everyone thought it would happen Christopher proposed in front of Cinderella’s Castle at Disney World during the fireworks show!

Choosing a venue: We toured several venues, but didn’t find the perfect one until we toured 21c Museum Hotel. We wanted a space that was big enough for our guest, but still felt intimate. It was right in the heart of downtown and we loved the uniqueness of the space. It’s so fun that we are able to go there for our anniversary dinners and special occasions now too!

Important elements: We wanted our day to honor both our love story and the role that our family and friends played in getting us to that moment. We made centerpieces from reclaimed wood from Christopher’s family farm, used my parent’s wedding glasses for our toast and had a close friend officiate.

Advice for other couples: Go see Sarah at Simply Love Studio! She was able to point us in the right direction for all of our vendors based on exactly what we were looking for and made our planning process so easy in the short amount of time we had to do it in!
